Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints

I was excited to try these new releases from Barry M when I walked into Boots a little while ago.
The concept of a 'gel' polish just seems so much more convenient, maybe that's just me.
Well, in many ways I wasn't wrong, these 'no effort' nail polishes, as I'm aptly renaming them, are easy to apply, no need for a top coat, some people say you should have a base layer with the polishes as they stain your nails, but I haven't noticed any staining and I am regretful to say that more than one layer is too much effort when it comes to nails. Maybe that's why I enjoy these so much. They dry in a relatively quick time and are glossy and shiny (hence the name 'Hi-Shine') as soon as applied. They only need one liberal coat to be fully opaque and they dry into a beautiful gloss finish.
Also they are inexpensive at about £3.99 a bottle so rather good and still great quality. Barginous!
To me these are the perfect combination of polish and the formulation is so stress and effort free it would suit any nail art skill level; mine being incredibly non-existent.
All in all I love these new polishes and will enjoy picking up some more colours.

In the picture I am wearing the colour 'Blood Orange' which is a beautiful rich red.

Live long and prosper.
Enjoy Tuesday 🙋
